To Bid the World Farewell

The process essay To Bid the World Farewell was an extremely creepy one. It went into detail about the embalming process, the behind the scene things that go on before the body is presented for everyone to see at the funeral. personally I never knew so much work and detial went into it and I really could have lived without knowing. I think that the whole process of embaling and dealing with dead people is creepy and just gross. That is one job that no matter how much you paid me I would never ever be able to do. I would not be able to osych myself out to do. But back to the essay. It was very detailed. however, I felt that she had too many steps to her essay. I think she has like eight or nine steps and I got lost and confused. If she would have combined some of her steps or left some of the less important ones out, it would have been easier to understand. There were also some terms that were common to the trade of embalming that she used thst the average person would not know that she did not define which made it confusing as well. Overall it was a well written essay however there were some things that she could have done better to make it better and easier for the reader to understand.
